I finally finished my backyard shadow box. There were so many little projects involved with this box that took me a long time to do.
Our two cats, Misty and Rusty had to be represented even though they are indoor cats.

We both love nature and love to watch and listen to the birds, so I had to put a bird and birdhouse in.

My husband's area. He likes to fish and to barbecue. Steaks, hamburgers and hot dogs are his food of choice. (and lots of beer in the cooler) The can of worms, the net and the stool I got in a swap but I made the fishing rod and the fish.

My area. I love to sit in the swing and read, watch the birds and do crafts. I also love my garden. (There is soil and seed packets under the swing.)

My craft basket. I have a basket that I take outside with me that that has various projects and books in.
It's lovely! No wonder you enjoy being in your garden, if you can read and craft sitting on that sweet swing :)

Wow Doreen, I am so glad you made a box of your own. The level of detail and personalization make them truly one of a kind. I am sure just looking at your box will make you and everyone who knows you smile. Yay for you! =-) Susan
ReplyDeleteMolson, Labatt, kingsford charcoal and the Ontario bird guide. It's definitely a Canadian BBQ! I thought of you today when I was in the wedding section of the craft store, they didn't have the champagne cups for the bbq :( I've been keeping an eye out, thanks for sharing.
