I am surprised at the way the two cats respond to Brandy. Brandy is constantly chasing after them both and will not leave them alone. Our gentle lady, Misty will watch Brandy from a safe distance but as soon as Brandy gets close to her, she takes off like a scared rabbit. Rusty, our rough and tumble male cat is actually quite good with her. The pup is always trying to nip at Rusty's paws or tail and Rusty will only give her a couple of taps on the head. He never puts his claws out or hisses. 
However when Brandy got too close to Rusty's box, Rusty immediately jumped into it as much as to say "Oh no you don't. This is MY box."Brandy looks like she is pleading - "Please let me in."
But Rusty would not budge and Brandy finally toddled off.
Brandy settled down in the living room as if to say "I will get into that box one day."

Doreen, my dear friend!!! You are having the time of your life with those amazing sweet fur-kids, Misty, Rusty, and now that adorable Brandy! Your awesome photos tell the whole story! Isn't it something that Rusty is so good with the new pup! They surely know how to be friends! I just love hearing all about them and all the fun you are having!
