- I first entered the world of miniatures when my husband gave me a dollhouse for Christmas in 2005. I had never had a dollhouse as a child but I had always been fascinated by miniatures. I found this to be a very satisying, relaxing hobby. I am now retired and married for 50 years to a wonderful man who has always treated me with respect and love. I have three children, four grandchildren,two new step-granchildren, two cats, and a dog. We like the simple things in life; a walk through a quiet forest, the song of birds, and the beauty of nature.

My Dollhouse
Anything you can find in a real house can be found in a dollhouse.
It looks lovely! What a fabulous job you did. It just looks perfect. :)

ReplyDeletethe stair case and the stain glass windows turned out beautifully. I really like the looks of the stair case. Adding those extra pieces on the bottom really adds to the character of the piece.

The stair case looks wonderful, Doreen! I really like the extra details you added and the stair carpet looks pretty against the white steps.

ReplyDeletethe staircase is beautiful Doreen! I agree with everyone else- your panels are the perfect touch and really make the staircase outstanding. I love the carpet on the stairs also- very pretty. I think pretty soon David and Julie will be receiving their own remodeling tv show-they are getting to be masters!!
ReplyDeleteDespite the initial disappointment the stair case has turned out to be a real success. It looks both fresh and elegant. The shape is also much more interesting than normal staircases.
