This part is taking me quite awhile to do. I decided that it would be easier to put the inside window frames in before I put the sections together as it would be rather difficult to do it later. So I had to paint the stained glass, and sand and paint the window frames then glue them in place before I started to put the tower together. Then with Julie and David helping, we put up the walls of the tower and glued them in place. We used masking tape to hold it as tight as possible while the glue dried.
I still have to finish filling the gaps (the largest one is around the corner where the tower attaches to the wall) and then they will all have to be smoothed out. Once it is all dry, I will sand it smooth. I have learned something new - the art of plastering!! LOL

Is Rapunzel going to be in that tower ;-)
ReplyDeleteWow Doreen- it looks really nice! The house is really starting to show it's shape now :) Hope you have a wonderful Easter ♥
ReplyDeletePlaster has been one of my best friends because I'm great at making mistakes.
ReplyDeleteIt is going to be a really stunning building Doreen and well worth all the effort. I love polyfilla it is a great friend to the dolls house builder and sands off very easily. I have never had a kit that has 'worked' according to the plans!
