Once the third floor was in, David couldn't wait to start working up there. Julie was very upset at his disregard for safety. She told him that was no way to place a ladder.
She told him to put the ladder through the trap door opening which was much safer.
Now they can both work on different floors.
The tower is in and David and Julie tape the walls.
While Julie is checking out the wallpaper, David finishes taping the roof of the tower. Then he can't resist playing "King of the Tower".
All the cracks and crevasses were then filled with plaster.
The tower's secret room is painted.
Julie puts up the border in the secret room and David tapes the walls.
The tower room is finished.
The walls are now up and the holes are all filled. It is now ready for the first coat of light blue. I think it will be easier to paint it before I start putting the roof pieces on.
David and Julie check out the doors for the dining room and the front entrance way.

ReplyDeleteYou have really made a lot of progress on that house and it is a good thing Julie is keeping an eye on David. He seems a bit reckless. :-)

Every thing looks so nice. The house has such interesting shape and design. I love the tower room, I'd love to have one in real life. (It's nice to dream about) Great job, I love every detail that you have added.
