Great find at the dollar store

Our dollar store finally got some miniature furniture. It is too red for me but I will probably paint it.  There were a few other pieces as well but these were the ones that I liked best.

  1. I bought some of the same furniture at my dollarstore. The coffee table I turned into a dinning room table to match my green and cherry kitchen.

  4. Aus den Möbeln kann man mit Farbe doch ganz viel machen. Leider gibt es bei uns so etwas nicht im 1Euro-Laden.

    Aber... im Urlaub in Australien werde ich mal schauen. Da habe ich auch schon oft nette Möbel zum günstigen Preis bekommen.

  6. I've used some of these pieces, too. The red is pretty persistent, lol. I recommend a coat of gesso before painting. Have fun!

  8. I bought some of that furniture also. I had a few visitors since my purchase and they were crazy about that red paint. They don't think I should paint them. I don't even know what I want to do with them yet. But, I think I'll save a few for a brocante I would like to do someday and it's also nice to have a darker piece here and there in the dollhouse. I find it breaks the monotony of all the pastel colours.

  10. Your dollar stores are great, I was there when I was in Canada, My husband thought I had bought them all empty, I had to pay extra when we flew back! Next time I come with empty suitcases! ;D
