- I first entered the world of miniatures when my husband gave me a dollhouse for Christmas in 2005. I had never had a dollhouse as a child but I had always been fascinated by miniatures. I found this to be a very satisying, relaxing hobby. I am now retired and married for 50 years to a wonderful man who has always treated me with respect and love. I have three children, four grandchildren,two new step-granchildren, two cats, and a dog. We like the simple things in life; a walk through a quiet forest, the song of birds, and the beauty of nature.
